How long has Kids Deserve Art been in business?
Kids Deserve Art has been in business since 2006, shortly after my first child was born, and just as I was starting my own blog
Cheaty Monkey.

How do I purchase my art?
Until we get our ecommerce system safely and securely up and running, we’re sticking to our well-honed grassroots approach. Simply CONTACT ME to let me know what piece(s) you’re interested in. I look forward to helping you find/create exactly the art you want. As for payment, all art is purchased via paypal — which is safe and easy to use. I’ve relied on paypal from the start. You can contact me regarding alternative payment methods if necessary.

question markHow do I contact you?
Simply email me with your questions or requests. I’m more readily available by email than I am by phone. So, you can be assured that your email will be answered promptly.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
I like to say 2-3 weeks to be safe. Usually the art arrives sooner. If you need things in a hurry, we can discuss rush options.

question markHow do you choose your artists?
Our artists are Canadian artists who demonstrate Kids Deserve Art values: they believe that kids deserve genuine art and that genuine art can significantly enrich children’s lives, shows them they’re worth it! Their artwork is professional, clean, and ships reliably to our customers.

question markAre you accepting submissions from new artists?
I’m always interested in submissions and seeing what’s out there. So, please do submit your art. Please contact us with an inquiry (informal is fine!).

question markCan you gift-wrap or add a card to the order?
We don’t gift wrap our items. Each of the artists ships her orders in differently. Cathy, for example, uses sturdy recyclable materials to protect her pieces for shipping - in her effort to reduce, reuse and recycle. We can add a small note card to your order. The cards on the site can be packaged with Cathy’s art only.

question markWhat is your return policy?
For non-personalized items, we happily accept returns or exchanges. But you must CONTACT US within 14 days of receipt. Once you receive confirmation to return the item(s), you’ll be asked to send the item(s) back to us, in its original condition, and we will refund your purchase, less shipping and handling. Any returns sent to us without prior notification will be rejected. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and is not refundable. And it’s recommended that you insure your package, as we are not responsible for lost packages.

For custom/personalized items, we do not accept returns. We are not responsible for errors in spelling on the customers' part. Please be certain of the spelling before you make your order; items that have errors due to a mistake in ordering will not be accepted for refund or exchange. Personalized items may only be returned if they are defective, or if we have made an error in spelling or size. These items will be fixed or replaced at our cost.
